AIM’s next generation speaks up

Matt Wilson was quick to spot the quality of the AIM products

Matt Wilson first discovered the AIM products about a year ago when he walked into his mother’s house and saw a canister of AIM Herbal Fiberblend® sitting on the kitchen counter. He picked up the jar and looked at it, and said to himself, “Wow, that’s a pretty good ingredients list.”

“So, I signed myself up with AIM to receive AIM Herbal Fiberblend®,” says Matt.

“I absolutely love it,” he says. But he admits, his mother did warn him about the taste. “I was willing to overlook it. I just knew that it was going to do a very efficient cleanse.”

Products that really work are important to Matt since he is a Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner, and likes to recommend effective products to his clients. So far, things are going well. At age 22, Matt Wilson, B.S. (honors), RHN, CNM, CB, CFT, is already successful in his brand-new practice, “Impact Health,” which is located in Huntsville, Ontario.

Matt estimates that about 85 percent of the clients he sees in his practice have bowel toxicity. Typically, he screens his clients with a simple blood test to determine patterns of overall health. “The main concern for most people is the bowels not moving. It’s so prevalent in everyone.” So, he recommends that his clients get started on cleansing with AIM Herbal Fiberblend®. “It cuts the case management period in half for most of my clients,” says Matt.

Along with cleansing, Matt is a firm believer in maintaining the proper acid/alkaline balance of the body. He usually recommends AIM BarleyLife®. “It’s the universal food. You could virtually live off of it. It works extremely well in improving the cellular environment.”

AIM BarleyLife® works so well that the difference is noticeable. He recalls a two-week period when five clients visited his office, and each client measured up very well on the blood analysis. Then, he found out that each client was a user of the AIM products. “All of them showed near-perfect results on their blood tests,” he noted. “That’s virtually unheard of!”

Such good results have further convinced Matt that the quality of AIM Herbal Fiberblend® and AIM BarleyLife® specifically are unparalleled. He does not hesitate to recommend the AIM products because he knows they are quality products that are going to work.

Chanele Padiachy earns success early in life

Twenty-year-old Chanele Padiachy, of Nepean, Ontario, is an AIM Director and was the proud recipient of the Grand Prize—a brand-new Cadillac CTS—which was presented to her at AIM’s June 2004 convention in Boise.

In addition to her career with AIM, Chanele is enrolled full-time at the University of Ottawa, where she is an honors student. Currently, she is in her third year of a five-year program to earn a bachelor of science degree in biopharmaceuticals.

How did the other students react when they found out that she had won the Grand Prize? “They were so surprised, and maybe a little jealous, but they were also very proud of me,” she says.

As a total vegetarian, Chanele tries to set a healthy example for her classmates, but she notices that students often reach for foods that are “quick and easy,” such as french fries. “Everybody knows it’s not healthy,” says Chanele, “but students like quick things.” That’s when she speaks to them about AIM BarleyLife®. “That, too, is very quick.” She usually brings AIM BarleyLife® capsules with her to campus just in case she needs a snack or an energy boost during her busy days.

Chanele can definitely speak with experience when she reaches out to others. She began to take the AIM products at the age of 10, when her parents, Megs and Ramila Padiachy, introduced them to the family. “I’ve used the products myself and I’ve seen the difference they can make, so I don’t really look at myself as a role model. I would just like to help people.”

The concept of helping others to achieve better health is something that Chanele learned early from her parents, who are AIM Chairman’s Club Members. “Just to see how they’ve succeeded with natural products has really impacted me, and that’s why I wanted to go into this business.”

Chanele has many more years of education ahead since she would like to pursue an advanced degree, and some day become a Naturopath, just as her mother has done. Chanele most admires her mother for her determination and hard work. “She never stops trying to improve herself.”

Mother and daughter are obviously alike. “I’m still trying to master it myself and learn everything there is to know,” says Chanele. However, most of the time, she says, “the products just speak for themselves.”

Eventually, she hopes to join her mother in professional practice, but until then, she plans to work hard. “If you work hard, and if you have good intentions, you will succeed.”

That’s excellent advice for us all. Thank you, Chanele!

George Deveney sets shining example for youth in his workplace

George Deveney proudly keeps the AIM products “front and center” of his desk for all to see. He also tries to set an example for his young clients and co-workers by setting out a fruit basket instead of a candy display on his desk.

His strategy seems to be working. “I get a plethora of comments,” says George, who works as an Outreach Coordinator for City Year Greater Philadelphia. Most of the people that George comes into contact with are high-energy, 17- to 24-year-olds who are full of enthusiasm and idealism. George helps these youth tap into their leadership abilities by placing them in civic, community service, and public school volunteer positions in neighborhoods throughout Philadelphia.

As an alumnus of the 2003 corps, George, now age 25, knows from experience how to reach and positively impact youth. And reach them he does — with the AIM message about good nutrition!

“If it’s not right there in front of you, no one wants to think about it,” says George, “but it will impact your life later down the road. And, that’s the biggest challenge—to see the impact at an early age.”

George was impacted with the message of good health at the early age of 13, when his aunt, AIM Royal Emerald Director Genevieve White and her late husband, Walter, took George under their wing—and into their home. While living with the couple, George began to use and enjoy the AIM products. Today, the AIM Garden Trio® and AIM Herbal Fiberblend® remain his favorites, and he shakes up a serving with grape juice every afternoon at his office.

“What surprises people most is that someone my age has such knowledge about health and nutrition.”

But, George is patient with his clients when they ask about the ‘funny looking’ green powder, and he tries to answer their questions as thoroughly as he can. Sometimes, he passes along an AIM data sheet (his Aunt Gene usually keeps him well supplied). Typically, he brings up The Healthy Cell Concept™ as a way to discuss nutrition. “It’s easy for people to understand,” he says. “Every day millions of our cells die, and they need to be replaced. The AIM products offer concentrated nutrition to do that.”

He also stresses the importance of exercise. And, that’s easy for George to talk about since he played sports all throughout high school and college. “You need to exercise to complete the cycle,” says George, who points to himself as an example. “I can say, hey look at me, I did it.”

While this very tall, former basketball player may be an example to look up to, he confesses that the biggest influence in his own life came from his Aunt Gene. “I’m extremely grateful to her…for her persistence, for being knowledgeable, for her lifestyle, from top to bottom, everything she has done has been worth emulating.”

In this case, perhaps imitation is the truest form of flattery.

Rock climbing and turning 60!

A special feature story by Pat Blasingame
Royal Emerald Director, Houston, TX

Turning 60! That used to be my mother’s age!

Until recently, when I thought in terms of ‘senior citizen,’ I used to think of my mother. But, here it is, and I am now the beneficiary of those special ‘senior discounts,’ plus a membership with the AARP! What a shock it is to find myself in this category!

When my husband, Gene, asked me what I wanted to do for my special, milestone birthday, I told him that I wanted to do something extraordinary—so, I picked repelling!

All of the information that we got on that sort of activity required rock climbing experience. Determined to follow-through on my request, Gene signed us up for beginner rock climbing at Enchanted Rock State Park (in nearby Fredericksburg, Texas), the second largest domed mountain in the United States! In preparation for the climb, I began to do extra workouts on the stair-stepper and take extra amounts of AIM products! (AIM BarleyLife®, AIM Proancynol® 2000, AIM CellSparc 360® and AIM Frame Essentials®.)

I received numerous shocked responses from friends when I shared my birthday plans. “Are you nuts?” they exclaimed. The mildest response was: “It’s too hot, wait until autumn!”

We met our guide at the State Park, who went over all of the safety measures until he was assured that we totally understood. We learned how to get into the harness, how to tie the ropes into special figure eight knots that wouldn’t come untied, which I thought was very important! We learned a new language unique to climbers, and that the climber and the person working the ropes need to communicate before any action takes place—an important rule in any situation! We learned how to work the ropes so that the climber would always be safe! When one partner was climbing, the other partner would be on the ground pulling one rope tight and at the same time pulling the other rope back on itself, to make sure the climber didn’t fall in case they slipped, which actually happened to me as I was repelling down the mountain! My feet became too close together and I lost my balance and went rolling across the mountain. Fortunately my wonderful partner, Gene, did everything right and I recovered my balance and continued safely down the mountainside.

Because it had been so very hot in Texas (heat of 112º F/ 45º C) the rest of the class never showed up and we got private lessons! It turned out to be very overcast that day and the temperature never got out of the 80s! So God shined on us instead of the sun! It was a perfect day! We did several climbs with each climb being more difficult than the previous one. Our guide was exceptional and had a heart for teaching. He was about the age of our kids, very patient, and called us ‘Mom and Dad.’ We loved it!

It was the most awesome experience for a sense of accomplishment that I have ever known. We held on to tiny little parts of rock and took advantage of cracks in the mountain. All in all, we did things we didn’t think were humanly possible! We learned to hold on with our fingertips, climb with our toes, push up with our palms and figure out which direction to take in order to reach our climbing goal, which looked totally impossible!

We’ve been taking AIM Products since 1996 as well as working out regularly. I can tell you that before AIM products came into our lives, there is no way that we could have ever attempted to climb a mountain! We took our AIM products with us that day, along with fruit, trail mix, energy bars and plenty of water! We took AIM BarleyLife® dry in our mouths, followed with water, just to keep our endurance up! (I did not think that I would ever take AIM BarleyLife® dry in my mouth either, but you know what? It wasn’t that bad!)

Why did we decide to climb a mountain? Because we can! Will we do it again? Absolutely!

When Pat and Gene Blasingame are not experiencing great rewards climbing a nearby mountain, they are Royal Emerald Directors from Houston, Texas, and are regularly scheduled facilitators for AIM Teleclasses™. They invite you to join them on their next AIM Teleclass™ where they promise to tackle a more, ‘down-to-earth’ topic!
