
AIM Star Sapphire Director June Poswiata describes the last 15 years as “an amazingly exciting journey. Years ago when I chose the single life, my goal was to work hard and become successful. There were many valleys on my journey, but just as many mountaintops.”
The 15 years referred to by June began in l992. “I was tired of working long hours for several weight loss organizations. The training I acquired over the years enabled me to create my own weight loss program. It was an enormous calling for me to reach out to so many overweight and obese people right here in my own community of Bracebridge (in Canada). I ran a small ad in the local newspaper and my weight loss business quickly became a booming success, but I knew I needed something more to enhance it.”
It was about that time that June attended a health fair in Barrie, Ontario, where she was introduced to the AIM products. “I wasn’t at all interested in the green juice samples but the AIM Herbal Fiberblend® most certainly intrigued me. I purchased some, used some, bagged some for people to try, and business was mooooving. AIM Herbal Fiberblend® was shaking Bracebridge; everyone who entered my clinic went home with it. The weight loss results were incredible. People could not believe the garbage that came out of their bodies thanks to something so simple.”
It did not take June long to recognize that the AIM products were the missing link to enhance her business. “I became an AIM Member so that I could purchase the products wholesale, and I became a Director in a couple of months.” Still, she was not inclined to try AIM’s green barley powder.
Then AIM Chairman’s Club Director Edna Smith attempted one more time to talk to her about the green powder. “I said if she wanted to bring it to me I would talk to a few people at a meeting about it. The meeting was well attended and AIM BarleyLife® soon became a household word. The ‘Dynamic Duo’ – AIM Herbal Fiberblend® and AIM BarleyLife® – was launched, and it forms the nutritional foundational support in my clinic. Success begins with cleaning house. Life or death begins in the colon. Build up the immune system and keep the gut clean. I believe this to be the first step to wellness.”
June’s Weigh-To-Wellness business is located in her home office. “With my knowledge of the other AIM products I am able to help more people get well and stay well. It is so rewarding when I get phone calls daily from people telling me how good they feel.”
The keys to June’s AIM business are not complicated but they do require action on her part. “Persistency pays off. Follow-up is important. It is not about selling, it is about service, and the more service you provide the more business will come your way. Be positive and passionate about what you do.”
June, who has three grown daughters and five grandchildren, reflects back to 1992 and her goal to become successful. She is pretty happy with what she sees. “AIM has provided me with a lifestyle I never dreamed possible. It has given me the freedom to be who I am wherever I am, and to travel to places that used to be only a dream. AIM has given me the opportunity to reach out to people, those who are sick and needy, to help them improve their quality of life. My AIM business is my lifestyle; I live it every day. I am healthy and happy, and I take my AIM products faithfully, every day.”
