- 8-10 medium cooking apples, peeled, pared and sliced
- Juice from one lemon
- 4 cups rolled oats
- 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp seasoned salt substitute
- 1/2 cup craisins (dried cranberries)
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 3 Tbsp AIM Just Carrots®
- 12 raw cranberries, whole
Drizzle apples with lemon juice. Spread half of apples in 9×13 in. pan. In blender, grind 2 cups of the oats into flour. Combine butter and honey, stir. Add oats, oat flour, nuts, seeds, spices, and salt substitute, mix well. Sprinkle craisins over crumbly mixture. Add crumbly mixture over the apples. Top with remaining crumbly mixture. Garnish with whole cranberries and/or apples (flower petals). Combine one packet of AIM Just Carrots® and orange juice, blend. Spoon over apple crisp mixture in a pan and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool for 20 minutes. Fill salt shaker with AIM Just Carrots®, sprinkle evenly over apple crisp. Using an atomizer spray bottle, lightly mist with water to turn AIM Just Carrots® into a glaze. Enhance cranberries and/or apples with a direct squirt.
