Antioxidants for all seasons

Winter is here, and the cold-weather months are a challenge to the immune system, especially in regard to colds and the flu. To protect and boost your immune system, the seven ingredients in AIM Proancynol® 2000 provide a wealth of antioxidants, which help to prevent free radical damage to cells and tissues.

By neutralizing free radicals, antioxidants can disrupt the disease process, which reduces your chance of becoming ill. And if you are not well, they may help to speed up your recovery. The more antioxidants your body has to work with, the better the protection.

Along with grape seed extract, N- acetylcysteine, tomato fruit extract (lycopene), alpha lipoic acid, and selenium, the Proancynol 2000 formula includes two leaf extracts that are beneficial on their own and combine with the other five ingredients for a synergistic effect—antioxidants working together for even greater health benefits.

The first leaf extract is green tea. Of all the teas in the world, green tea is the richest in polyphenols—powerful, flavonoid antioxidants, such as epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which is green tea’s main component. Research shows that EGCG provides even more antioxidant activity than vitamin C and E. More than 1,000 studies confirm the benefits of green tea for lowering the risk of a wide range of diseases and conditions. Green tea enhances the immune system by increasing the activation of the white blood cells—the soldiers of your body’s defense system.

The second leaf extract is rosemary—a common herb found in the kitchen. Rosemary’s antioxidants include carnosic acid, which has some unique properties. Carnosic acid can:

  • cross the blood-brain barrier
  • wait harmlessly in the body until triggered by free radical damage
  • increase the production of glutathione—one of the body’s most important antioxidants

With seven ingredients providing a wide variety of antioxidants, Proancynol 2000 is
a natural health product for all seasons and particularly helpful during the cold, winter weather. Protect yourself from the inside out with antioxidants.

I regularly fly to South Africa to visit family, and Proancynol 2000 helps me overcome my jetlag faster and keeps me from getting sick even with all those germs in a confined space. Also, as soon as anyone in my family has a sore throat, I give them two Proancynol capsules every few hours. It works like a charm for headaches as well. Thanks, AIM!

An energy boost when you need it most

Holidays can be both relaxing and exhausting, and you often need another holiday just to recover. And since December is chockfull of celebrations like Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and New Year’s, AIM offers support to help you enjoy holidays to the max. Just the same, it is going to require some endurance—AIM Peak Endurance™.

To get through the holidays, you are going to need energy. Where do you get that energy? Each one of your cells is a tiny factory that manufactures adenosine triphosphate (ATP)—a high-energy molecule that your body produces from the breakdown of food. For instance, when you take AIM BarleyLife®, you are giving your body a wealth of nutrients that can be converted into ATP. AIM Peak Endurance™ whenever you need it!

Peak Endurance provides your body with supplemental energy from PEAK ATP®—clinically proven to elevate ATP levels when taken orally. If you think of ATP as the battery that powers your body, you can keep your battery fully charged during the holidays with Peak Endurance.

Busy holidays are just one of the times you need added energy. If you are exercising, for example, it is the perfect time to give your body supplemental ATP. Peak Endurance makes an ideal sports drink because it also provides six major electrolytes, vitamin C, and six of the B vitamins. And unlike most sugar-laden sport drinks, Peak Endurance contains only a gram of sugar.

Since busy holidays can be like running a marathon, give yourself the energy you need to make it to the finish line this holiday season by taking Peak Endurance.

I love Peak Endurance and have been taking it ever since it was introduced. I have fibromyalgia and many of the symptoms were reduced by taking BarleyLife and AIM Herbal Fiberblend®. But I feel even better after adding Peak Endurance. After the first day of taking Peak Endurance twice daily, I noticed that I was more alert. After a week, I noticed that it helped me to be more organized, stay on track, and think more clearly. Thanks, AIM, for another wonderful product!

25 ways to build a business

Running a successful AIM business takes commitment, consistency, and hard work—and a few fun ideas never hurt, either. AIM has resurrected a former favorite AIM video called 22 Ways to Build a Business. A lot has changed in the 15 years since this DVD debuted, so consider this update a 21st-century version of AIM business building.

  1. Make a list of everyone you know.
  2. Become active in a new network or organization. Chairman’s Club Directors Jim and Carolyn Kling joined the booster club for their local college basketball team, and through this network, they made connections with a new group of people who could benefit from AIM products.
  3. Drink BarleyLife in public places. Carry Sample Packs to share.
  4. Build a testimony collection.
  5. Stand in long lines on purpose! And spend your time in line wisely by being friendly and helpful to others and working AIM BarleyLife® into any conversations.
  6. Call your downline to congratulate them on promotions.
  7. Collect news articles on health and nutrition.
  8. Start your own natural health library and loan out books, and AIM audios and DVDs.
  9. Get your free MyAIMStore website.
  10. Hold home meetings.
  11. Always be prepared with datasheets and AIM information. Royal Emerald Director Linda Cole takes datasheets with her wherever she goes. You never know when an AIM opportunity might strike.
  12. Get involved in community events.
  13. Join your local toastmasters club to improve your public speaking skills.
  14. Order more products than you need. Then use your inventory to share nutrition with others.
  15. Use the Third-Party Invitation. Ask people, “Do you know anyone who needs to improve their diet or who wants to feel better? How about someone who would like to earn extra money by helping others?” Your interviewees will often give you names to add to your contact list or show interest themselves.
  16. Get to know your genealogy report to find potential leaders and work with them.
  17. Try the Blitz 25. Collect 25 AIM audios or videos and hand them out to 25 different contacts. Follow up with each to see what they thought. Chances are more than one will stick, and you’ll have a new AIM customer.
  18. Encourage a quick start. It is easier to grow fast than to grow slow. So encourage those in your network who are interested in AIM health and wealth to begin with a home meeting featuring BarleyLife.
  19. Buy local advertising.
  20. List yourself in the phone book under “health and nutrition.”
  21. Use your car as a billboard.
  22. Speak at schools and organizations.
  23. Start a high-achievers club for your downline.
  24. Organize a yearly reunion for your network.
  25. Reach out to locally-owned businesses.

If you have an idea to add to this list, e-mail partners@aimintl.com with your business tip, and you may see it appear in a future publication.

Redefining retirement with 90-year-old Eugene Baldwin

The Blue Diamond Director from Altamonte Springs, Florida, began his membership with The AIM Companies™ in 1986, just a few months before turning sixty-four years old. And now with his 90th birthday on the horizon, Eugene continues to build his AIM business and live healthy and wealthy thanks to the AIM products.

“I’ve been pretty healthy all my life,” Eugene said, “and I contribute a lot of it to the AIM products because of their nutritional value. I never get sick. I just take one day at a time and share AIM with my friends. I’ve never felt better for my age.”

Eugene was introduced to The AIM Companies by Chairman’s Club Director Connie Knight from nearby Apopka, Florida. He was helping Connie carry groceries to her car when the discussion turned to health and nutrition.

“He explained some of his health concerns, and I told him, ‘I can remedy that,’” Connie said. “This business really fell into line with his personality. He’s a very caring person who has worked in youth ministry and with kids, and he has made friends all over the world. He really shows people he cares. He’s quite a guy. He keeps me on my toes.”

Indeed he does. Eugene is an active AIM business builder who sends out weekly
e-mail blasts to his organization. He often consults with Connie on e-mail topics. In addition to e-mail, Eugene also sends out postcards to his downline once a month, calls Members in his downline to encourage them, and does campaigns for those who used to be part of his AIM network.

“I’m starting to send postcards out to people who have been deleted over the
years,” Eugene said. “I already got four or five that came back. Plus, I had some that came back on their own. They just couldn’t do without AIM.”

Eugene’s personality—caring, sincere, personable—makes it natural for him to
share the AIM products with others.

“Talk about barley with everybody that you get within three feet of,” Eugene said. “I try to carry literature with me so that the people I don’t have time to talk to can be given some product information. The people that I do talk to about AIM want to find out more about the products.”

In addition to turning 90 years young in February, he and his wife Laura just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. The so-called “retirement” years for Eugene have been filled with milestones and achievements in his personal life and in his AIM membership. He remains committed to his AIM business, and his example is an inspiration to those around him.

“If we all did what he did,” Connie said, “life would be wonderful.”

ProPeas – the all-green, all-vegetable protein

Protein keeps us healthy by building up, maintaining, and replacing the tissues that compose our muscles, organs, and immune system. As a necessary part of a proper diet, protein is available from a variety of sources.

Meat is usually the first protein source that comes to mind, but it has an acidifying effect on the body and may contain unhealthy elements, such as excessive amounts of fat or traces of antibiotics. Vegetarians often supplement their protein intake with tofu from soy. Whey protein from cheese is another common supplement. However, both soy and whey are among the eight most common allergens that account for 90 percent of all food allergies. When you consider any of these sources, the protein you ingest can have both a positive and a negative impact on your health.

A healthy source of protein, AIM ProPeas™ is derived from field peas by means of a clean filtration process that uses no chemical solvents. ProPeas powder contains the building blocks of protein—essential amino acids. But with low amounts of acidifying amino acids, ProPeas does not produce the acidifying effect that meat and whey have on the body.

One of the many positive effects of low-fat ProPeas is that it contributes to lean muscle mass. If you are trying to manage your weight, ProPeas takes about four hours to digest, which keeps you feeling full for a long time and reduces food cravings. ProPeas’ slowly digested protein increases your metabolic rate, so you burn more calories.

One serving of ProPeas provides 12 grams of protein, so supplement your diet with as many servings as required. For a tasty snack or meal replacement, mix ProPeas in rice milk with AIM fit ‘n fiber® or AIM FibreBalance®.

I just tried the ProPeas for the first time and love it! I just added milk, and the ProPeas tasted great. One and a half hours later I drank my AIM BarleyLife®, and two hours later, I was still feeling full. Thanks.
