Earn income on your own terms with network marketing

Many AIM Members are having fun and making money with their home-based AIM business. It is always a good time to take advantage of AIM’s network marketing opportunity that is low-risk and high-reward.

In fact, network marketing has created more millionaires than any other industry, and
some of the top business minds have shared their thoughts on having a network marketing business. The author of the best-seller, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki called it “the perfect business” and stated, “The truth is, the top of the network marketing system is open to everyone—unlike traditional corporate systems, which allow only one person to reach the top of the company. The reason most people do not reach the top is simply because they quit too soon.” It’s a misconception that only those
who join a network marketing company at its beginning receive healthy commissions.

Donald Trump addressed another misconception when he said, “I am often asked if
network marketing is a pyramid scheme. My reply is that corporations really are pyramid schemes. A corporation has only one person at the top, generally the CEO, and everyone else below.” In other words, few people get rich working for someone else.

When you work for someone else, your salary is limited no matter how hard you work.
However, there is no limit to the amount of income that can come to you from having an
AIM home-based business. And you work for yourself.

During its thirty-year-plus history, many in the AIM family have become Members of the Million Dollar Club. They made it by being productive, often earning more income than their sponsors. This shows that if you work hard, you can come out on top—no matter when you join AIM.

At the same time, you don’t have to do it alone. Along with its incredible health products, AIM provides an accessible support system to help you achieve your goals. An online education at the AIM Academy gives you the product and business knowledge that is essential to success. And you can always get help and direction for building your business by giving us a call.

Follow-up: The key to success

Chairman’s Club Director Janet Pauly has spent decades sharing AIM nutrition
with others and growing her downline into an international organization. One of
the keys to her success is follow-up. What follows is an e-mail that Janet sent
to her downline Members in South Africa in June 2012.

My dear South African AIM Member,

Please regard this as a personal letter to you. I can’t begin to tell you how much it means to me to have you in my downline. I would love to meet with you and get to know you. I would like to tell you in person how much I appreciate the wonderful job you are doing in sharing the AIM products and promoting health among your family and friends. I know that only people who have genuinely caring hearts would take the time to listen to others’ sad stories and then try to guide them to better health practices and improved nutrition and to explain to them the potential good that the AIM products could do for them. In addition to my monthly report showing how much each of you ordered, I also get a report telling me who sponsored whom in your country. I read this report carefully, and I can see who is actively sponsoring. Thank you so much for all that you do.

I am so far away and feel very cut off from you, and that makes me feel sad. Josh and Judy Dolev were my first Members in South Africa, and I owe them so much because they were the ones who got the downline that you are in started. I was privileged to go to South Africa under their auspices long before AIM was established there. They had made so many contacts that they had me booked for something like eleven meetings in twelve days.

As the years go by, it is easy to begin to take our AIM products for granted and almost forget what a treasure we have at our fingertips. When this happens, we tend not to share what we know about the high octane nutrition of AIM BarleyLife®. As you know, this is information that can change people’s lives or, as in my case, even save lives. Because my friend Merrilyn cared enough about me to put some green powder in a sandwich bag and write me a letter, I’m alive today. She said she felt compelled to do this, and she and I both believe it was the Lord prompting her.

I’ve been an AIM Member now for twenty-six years, and I never get over the thrill of someone I’ve introduced to BarleyLife calling me and telling me how much this green powder has improved their life. This is a huge reward for the time I’ve spent explaining the importance of good nutrition. We can’t always explain just how these changes happen, but we do understand that our bodies know exactly what to do with the nutrients we give them. Healing starts on the inside at the cellular level.

The older we get, the more important it is to keep our body’s machinery oiled and in good repair. BarleyLife goes a long way toward doing this. We may never know in this life what BarleyLife has saved us from. Please don’t ever make the mistake of stopping using your BarleyLife.

I’m attaching several testimonials that you may or may not have read. I hope you will enjoy them and use them to encourage others. One is about cancer, one is about a child with a severe seizure disorder, and the third is about a man who recovered from a massive heart attack.

May God bless and keep you.

With kindest regards,

Janet Pauly

Mixing AIM products, e-commerce, and tea sales

Building a business with AIM products can take many forms. There are businesses built through home meetings, close-knit communities, testimonies, and much more. Director Debbie Gilley from Cumming, Georgia, built her business on tea.

An AIM product user for twenty-five years, Debbie recently began selling the products and tapping into AIM’s generous Compensation Plan. She did so on the coattails of her online tea store.

Debbie has been selling Sands Tea and Herbal Blends on her website since March 2011. Her parents, Directors Merle and Sue Palmer,
suggested adding AIM concentrates and supplements to the online shop
to take advantage of the existing infrastructure and customer base.

“My parents have been AIM members since the 1980s,” Debbie said. “Their overall health alone would convince anyone of the positive impact using AIM products have on total wellness. They passed on this health heritage to me.”

Within five months, Debbie went from Wholesale Member to Director, month after month her commission check continues to grow.

The tea business began as a way for Debbie to seek new opportunities with a product and concept that she enjoyed. She says it best on her
website: “(Tea parties) are about stepping away from the busyness of life and taking a moment to find peace. It’s about sharing a few moments with those around me—creating memories so that I can cherish them later when they’re gone.”

The picture of a relaxing tea party is juxtaposed with Debbie’s busy home life. She is the mother of eleven kids, each of whom she has
homeschooled. Five kids remain in the house and in school with her.

“Total wellness is a daily priority for any busy mother,” Debbie said, “and the enzymes, essential amino acids, and rich antioxidants in AIM BarleyLife® give me the immune system support that I need to feel good and get me through the day.

“I have been taking BarleyLife since the 1980s. I found that green barley juice provided the daily nutrition I needed during my fourth pregnancy. It provided not only energy but also calmed morning sickness and indigestion that I normally have during pregnancy. BarleyLife was also an important part of my nutrition after each birth for nursing and recuperation.

“Seven children later, I’m still a devoted BarleyLife fan.”

Other members of her family benefit from AIM products, too. Her husband, Charles, takes AIM CellSparc 360®, AIM GinkgoSense™, and
AIM ReAssure® SP. Her daughter, Melody, is gluten intolerant and uses the AIM gluten-free products in her baking. Debbie’s other children who are involved in sports and athletics take AIM Peak Endurance® for their energy needs. Even the family dog, Mr. Darcey, enjoys BarleyLife and AIMega® in his food.

Share health with others at expos and conferences

Chairman’s Club Directors Charlotte and Keith Thompson have developed their extensive downline and organization through a variety of means, perhaps none as important as the meetings and expos they hold and attend. The Thompsons’ recent event success occurred at a February health expo in Dalton, Ohio, outside their hometown of Dundee, Ohio. Less than a week after the event ended, fifteen new Members had joined AIM.

The expo attracted thousands of visitors, and the Thompson’s booth took advantage of the foot traffic with an attractive display from AIM and a valuable giveaway. The Thompsons handed out over 1,000 of their testimony books during the two-day event.

Charlotte was asked to speak on women’s health issues at the expo’s seminar area, and the Thompsons worked the constant crowd in front of their booth. During the expo, Charlotte and Keith welcomed the assistance of their son and daughter-in-law, Directors Nathan and Joy Thompson, and Director Mary Schlabach. The Thompsons’s goal for the expo was to help Nathan, Joy, and Mary build their personal downlines. Less than a week after the event, Mary had added two new Members and four more shortly afterward, and Nathan and Joy had added thirteen.

The work was not done after the expo ended, either. Calls continued to come in through March with a total of 34 phone calls as of press time.

“We are so busy that we can’t answer the phone fast enough these past days,” Charlotte said following the expo. “Yesterday I was actually asking people to phone back as we were doing mini-seminars on the phone and teaching people when they phoned and wanted more information after reading our testimony books.”

25 ways to build a business

Running a successful AIM business takes commitment, consistency, and hard work—and a few fun ideas never hurt, either. AIM has resurrected a former favorite AIM video called 22 Ways to Build a Business. A lot has changed in the 15 years since this DVD debuted, so consider this update a 21st-century version of AIM business building.

  1. Make a list of everyone you know.
  2. Become active in a new network or organization. Chairman’s Club Directors Jim and Carolyn Kling joined the booster club for their local college basketball team, and through this network, they made connections with a new group of people who could benefit from AIM products.
  3. Drink BarleyLife in public places. Carry Sample Packs to share.
  4. Build a testimony collection.
  5. Stand in long lines on purpose! And spend your time in line wisely by being friendly and helpful to others and working AIM BarleyLife® into any conversations.
  6. Call your downline to congratulate them on promotions.
  7. Collect news articles on health and nutrition.
  8. Start your own natural health library and loan out books, and AIM audios and DVDs.
  9. Get your free MyAIMStore website.
  10. Hold home meetings.
  11. Always be prepared with datasheets and AIM information. Royal Emerald Director Linda Cole takes datasheets with her wherever she goes. You never know when an AIM opportunity might strike.
  12. Get involved in community events.
  13. Join your local toastmasters club to improve your public speaking skills.
  14. Order more products than you need. Then use your inventory to share nutrition with others.
  15. Use the Third-Party Invitation. Ask people, “Do you know anyone who needs to improve their diet or who wants to feel better? How about someone who would like to earn extra money by helping others?” Your interviewees will often give you names to add to your contact list or show interest themselves.
  16. Get to know your genealogy report to find potential leaders and work with them.
  17. Try the Blitz 25. Collect 25 AIM audios or videos and hand them out to 25 different contacts. Follow up with each to see what they thought. Chances are more than one will stick, and you’ll have a new AIM customer.
  18. Encourage a quick start. It is easier to grow fast than to grow slow. So encourage those in your network who are interested in AIM health and wealth to begin with a home meeting featuring BarleyLife.
  19. Buy local advertising.
  20. List yourself in the phone book under “health and nutrition.”
  21. Use your car as a billboard.
  22. Speak at schools and organizations.
  23. Start a high-achievers club for your downline.
  24. Organize a yearly reunion for your network.
  25. Reach out to locally-owned businesses.

If you have an idea to add to this list, e-mail partners@aimintl.com with your business tip, and you may see it appear in a future publication.

Keeping It $imple with BarleyLife

Star Sapphire Directors Joanne and WayneJackson joined AIM in 1987, and over the years, they have worked at building their AIM business, actively holding meetings and participating in trade shows.

The Jacksons live northwest of Toronto in the town of Hillsburgh, where the surroundin gcountryside is dotted by farmland. On April 30, 2011, in the nearby town of Erin, the Jacksons tended their booth at the Home & Lifestyle Show.

Having decided to get back to the basics, Joanne and Wayne showcased only AIMBarleyLife® to introduce attendees to AIM’s foundational product. The show was a huge success for them, and Joanne wrote an article about it that will be published in the next issue of Health Headlines. Extracted from that article are the following five tips for your own success:

1) Advertise that you will have a booth at the trade show, farmer’s market, or other venue, and place an ad in publications that are promoting the event. Contact your local paper to see if they would like to do an article about your BarleyLife business.

2) Keep your booth simple by using canisters of BarleyLife along with posters and datasheets. Display sales items, such as Nutrition That Worksinsulated grocerybags, Healthy Cell Concept DVDs, and hand blenders. Play an AIM DVD or make up a slide show with pictures of BarleyLife, barley grass, etc. for people to watch. Hand out BarleyLife Sample Packs and datasheets along with your business cards.

3) Advertise a “special price” for event purchases only. Make BarleyLife gift bags—for example, a canister of BarleyLife, a datasheet, and a measuring spoon. Staple your business card to the outside of the bag.

4) Ask if it would be all right to contact people who purchase BarleyLife in “a week or two” so that they expect and welcome your follow-up call—keep them short and sweet!

5) When speaking to people about BarleyLife, explain alkalinity and how important it is for good health. Most people are unaware that disease will thrive in an acidic environment but will not survive in an alkaline one. This really helps to get the point across as to why BarleyLife is important for optimal health.

Joanne and Wayne know that there are many people out there that need their help and the help of the AIM products. BarleyLife and the other AIM products shouldn’t be a secret. And by keeping it simple with BarleyLife, you’ll be surprised at your own success!

Carolyn Kling – Aging Outside the Box

AIM Chairman’s Club Director Carolyn Kling appeared on “Aging Outside the Box®” Syndicated Radio Show on August 18 to share her testimony of health and wealth. Carolyn and her husband Jim were principal founders of AIM and recently reached the Seven Million Dollar Club in earnings through their AIM business.

During the Aging Outside the Box Program, Carolyn her experiences, starting thirty years ago with the founding of The AIM Companies™ and the first barley leaf juice to present day with her role as one of the leading business builders in the history of The AIM Companies. Throughout the hour long segment, Carolyn weaved testimonies of better health through AIM nutrition, opportunity, and success.

“Jim saw that this product was outstanding,” said Carolyn, as she recounted the origins of their BarleyLife history, “and he found people that were taking it who were getting well. One lady with extreme arthritis threw her walker away; another lady had cancer and her doctor wrote a note on a prescription pad that said radiation and barley had put her cancer in remission. So we just went from there.”

Carolyn and Jim quit their real estate business in Nampa, Idaho, to pursue the AIM opportunity full time. Their passion for the products was key to building a strong business.

“We wanted to share with everyone we met,” Carolyn said. “We had a three-foot rule where if you got within three feet, and we had an opportunity, we were going to tell you about having better health.

“We got inspired to help people. We saw testimonies of people getting well and getting healthy with our green leaf powder. So we decided that we had a story to tell and we needed to share it with as many people as we could around the world.”

Aging Outside the Box host Shirley Mitchell described Carolyn’s business as a “roaring bonfire.” Carolyn shared tips from her book, Turning Green Into Gold. Written in 2000 with help from Carolyn’s daughter, AIM Star Sapphire Director Cathy McCrea, the book covers the Kling’s business experiences and business plans with the hope of inspiring others to reach the same heights.

“I don’t know of anything more important that you can give someone than to give them a better way of life and a better quality of health.”

Disasters! Are you Prepared?

One look at the news these days tells you that anything can happen, especially when it comes to disasters—natural or technological. It is extremely important to be prepared beforehand so that you have the essentials needed to survive—enough food and water to last through and beyond any catastrophic event.

Stocking up on AIM whole-food concentrates and natural health products can help you, your family, and friends prepare for a disaster. Most AIM products have a two-year expiration date, making it simple to have a six-month supply of nutrition on hand.

For example, having a supply of the Daily Essentials—greens, essential fatty acids (EFAs), and fiber—ensures that an easily assimilated source of nourishment is available to maintain good health throughout a catastrophe.

The Daily Essentials come in packs of four different combinations that include a choice of greens in an AIM BarleyLife® or AIM BarleyLife ® Xtra powder, EFA’s in AIMega®. and fiber in an an AIM Herbal Fiberblend® or AIM FibreBalance®(CAN) powder. It’s your choice.

Imagine for a moment what a six-month supply of Daily Essentials would do for maintaining the health of those affected by the tsunami and resulting nuclear reactor disaster in Japan.

Members like AIM Director marth Price consider the Daily Essentials as “must have” products to keep well-stocked in her home to be prepared for emergency situations, such as hurricanes, freezing weather, or radiation in the atmosphere. Martha recognizes that during disastrous times, food and water sources are compromised, so having an available source of greens, EFAs, and fiber on hand allows her to be nutritionally prepared to handle an emergency situation.

A supply of other AIM products, such as the AIM Garden Trio® or AIm ProPeas™. provide additional  sources of nutrition during the challenging times following a disaster. AIM Proancynol® 2000 boosts a compromised immune system with a powerful variety of antioxidants that combat free radical damage. And if you have specific health issues, stocking up on your Plus Ones, whether AIM GlucoChrom™ for balancing bood sugar, AIM CellSparc 360® for supporting the heart, Or AIM Compousre® for reducing stress, puts your mind at ease knowing that AIM wholefood concentrates and natural health products are by your side during the worst of times.

Share your AIM success stories

When AIM Members get together, you can expect some great stories to be shared. Such was the case at AIM’s annual training event, AIMing Higher, in October. The following testimonies were given:

From Royal Emerald Director Richard Ekstrom from Hayden, Idaho:

I’ve been around the AIM family for a long time. I even remember being on the ranch of Chairman’s Club Director Jim Kling when I was twelve years old.

I really wanted to touch on the point of how much this company has really blessed me and how much it is changing my life on a personal level.

First off, I lost forty pounds after the 1990 convention by starting with AIM Herbal Fiberblend® and the barley.

AIM is a family, and I am so thankful for the ways they’ve touched my life and my family and for the things I’m about to do because of the company. I’m the nephew of Daniel Erceg. He passed away last year, and he left his AIM membership as a legacy. He inspired me to help other people. I’m also so inspired by J.R. Celski’s story.

I’m involved with a camp, where I had the opportunity to make a speech and use some of the examples of how AIM products positively affect people’s lives—the products go hand in hand with this ministry. I want to thank everybody at AIM for their contribution in making the world a great place, and I’m so proud to be part of AIM and the Celski’s legacy.

I’m looking forward to growing.

From Group Builder Patricia Hamilton from Freeport, Grand Bahamas:

My brother-in-law was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in May 2010, so I put him on the AIM Garden Trio®, AIM Herbal Fiberblend®, and AIM ReAssure® SP. After he began taking these AIM products, his PSA levels went from ten (high risk) to two (normal).
